From material deterioration to structural capacity.

We investigate how fire, wind, chloride exposure, and corrosion change reinforced-concrete infrastructure over time. The work connects microstructure, transport processes, steel deterioration, and member-level response so that inspection and repair decisions can be made before damage becomes critical.
